Mar 2021: Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC, Tamuning, Guam, is awarded a $15,717,985 firm-fixed-price task order N62742-21-F-9928 for construction of a low-rise, reinforced concrete ordnance administrative and operations facility structure in support of Marine Corps ordnance operations within the munitions area at Naval Support Activity, Andersen Air Force Base, Guam.  The task order also contains three unexercised options, which if exercised, would increase cumulative task order value to $16,559,776.  The work to be performed provides for construction of a new ordnance administrative and operation facility.  Facilities will be equipped with exterior lighting, lightning protection systems, ground ring, automatic fire sprinklers and heating, ventilation and air conditioning.  In addition to office space, the facility includes waiting area with service counter, breakroom, conference room/classroom, head facilities and showers, personnel lockers and bunkroom and incidental related work.  The unexercised options, if exercised, provide for removal and disposal of petroleum-contaminated soil exceeding tropical pacific soil environmental screening levels, disposal of other hazardous waste, furniture, fixtures and equipment.  Work will be performed in Yigo, Guam, and is expected to be completed by April 2023.  Fiscal 2021 military construction (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $15,717,985 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Four proposals were received for this task order.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (N62742-19-D-1330).

Sep 2021: Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC, Tamuning, Guam, is awarded a firm-fixed-price task order (N6274221F9934) at $13,948,948 under a multiple award construction contract for the construction of a reinforced concrete blast structure over an existing fuel manifold at Joint Region Marianas. Work will be performed in Marianas, Guam, and is expected to be completed by September 2023. The work to be performed provides for the demolition and removal of the current intermediate subterranean valve vault that houses existing petroleum oil lubricant pipelines and the construction of a new hardened concrete building structure and hose connection vault at the Tiyan Junction Valve Vault facility. Fiscal 2017 military construction (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $13,948,948 are obligated on this award and expires at the end of the current fiscal year. Jul 2022: Black Construction – Tutor Perini JV, Harmon, Guam (N62742-19-D-1328); Caddell-Nan JV, Montgomery, Alabama (N62742-19-D-1329); Core Tech-HDCC-Kajima LLC, Tamuning, Guam (N62742-19-D-1330); Gilbane SMCC ECC LLC, Concord, California (N62742-19-D-1331); and Hensel Phelps Construction Co., Honolulu, Hawaii (N62742-19-D-1332), are awarded a $98,500,000 modification to increase the maximum dollar value of the multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, design-build construction contracts for projects located primarily in Guam and other areas in the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Pacific area of operations (AO). The work to be performed provides new construction, renovation, and minor construction and may include, but is not limited to, barracks/dormitories; administrative facilities; communication facilities; educational facilities; medical/dental/hospital facilities; dining facilities; industrial facilities; warehouse facilities, ranges, operational/training facilities, roads, streets, bridges, site utilities/infrastructure, dredging, and aviation facilities (including hangars and aprons) and other base development facilities. After award of these modifications, the total combined contract value will be $1,088,500,000. Work will be performed primarily within the NAVFAC Pacific AO, to include Guam (80%); Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (10%); Hawaii (5%), and other areas in the Pacific and Indian Oceans (5%). The term of the contracts is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of September 2024. No funds will be obligated for the award of the contract modifications.
