Description

Please see attachments for RFI M67854-22-I-0014 and associated Enclsoure (1).

Background
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Program Executive Officer Land Systems (PEO LS), Program Manager (PM) for Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) provides the Ground Based Air Defense Community the means to effectively and efficiently achieve and sustain the capabilities needed to destroy or negate manned and unmanned aerial threats in support of the Marine Air/Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Commander’s Scheme of Maneuver and designated defended assets. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit potential solutions from industry on Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) interceptors to defeat Groups 1, 2, and 3 Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as defined in Annex C of the Department of Defense Counter Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Strategy. PM GBAD is seeking a realistic and cost-effective approach to integrating a C-UAS interceptor in an effort to increase lethality of the current MADIS Block 1 system.

Work Details
The potential solutions should provide increased lethality and range of defeat for the GBAD Future Weapons Systems (FWS) Increment 1 (Inc 1) Marine Air Defense Integrated System (MADIS) program of record, hereafter referred to as MADIS. The requirement may include integration, testing, production, and optional maintenance support.
The MADIS consists of specific, integrated capabilities required to carry out active air defense against UAS, Fixed-wing (FW), and Rotary-wing (RW) threats. The defense of maneuver forces requires an integrated and in-depth air defense umbrella based upon the rapid kill chain sequence of “detect”, “track”, “identify”, and “defeat”. PM GBAD is interested in interceptor solutions that could be recoverable, field refurbishable and/or non-recoverable that minimizes cost per engagement of Group 1-3 threats.
